Grind Session

This game
is hot to death. I mean blazing. Now if you have Tony Hawk then you might
wanna just skip this. If you beat Tony Hawk and want something new then
you don't need to read this, just go out and get it. I love this game.
Let me calm down.
First off
this game is alot like Tony Hawk, just to warn you. Some of the locations
are the same. And it has similar game modes and everything. BUT what makes
this game hot is the fact that there are some modes and features that
Tony Hawk didn't have. For example, there is a Skater's View button that
lets you scope out the terrain AND in tournament mode it stops the clock
too. Plus there is an Open mode that let's you play all the boards you
have access to without a time limit, that way you can look for all the
objects and what not you need to get. You also really need this because
even though there are only 9 levels they can get huge. You can spend hours
mastering a level to find that there was probably a whole other room with
cool half-pipes and what not in it.
Now on to
the technical stuff. You go through the tournament mode gaining respect
by doing different things like by doing tricks, knocking over (vandalising)
different objects, and doing the technical lines (perform certain tricks
in a designated area). This is the part of the game that makes it very
addicting. When you are performing phat tricks one after another with
all these combos but then you got the clock winding down and you keep
playing trying to get a better score. Plus the music.......let me put
it this way: You are flying off of the roof of one building onto the roof
of another with "Out for Fame" by KRS-One playing in the back.
Now that's hot. Plus they got the Jurassic 5, Dr. Octagon, the Xecutioners
and whole bunch of others. Strictly Underground. Gotta love it.
If you want
to see how good it looks we got pictures. But I say you should just go
rent it if you are skeptical and then go buy it.
