NFL 2K1

Well we know you remember 2K. It was the biggest thing to hit football since Madden back in the early 90's. Well now they seemed to have made some improvements this time. First they added a better juke move and they included a more realistic spin move that doesn't slow you down. But the stiff arm and the hurdle have lost their effectiveness. Which means that the slow running game that was in 2K will be even worse. HOWEVER, they compensated for this by increasing the players running speed. Personally, I think this should be a good addition because Terrell Davis never really had much break-away speed.

Overall speed seems to be what the added to ever aspect of the game; so that the game flows more realistically. The defensive back actually move around with more fluid motion. The QB actually scrambles away from defensive lineman. Finally 2K1 should be bring in that last 2/10 of the Monday Night Football market.

This time around VC seems to be looking geared towards details. The stadiums have more details, the addition of a franchise mode, and they've also made the playbooks almost identical to each NFL team. BUT their biggest addition is the online multiplayer aspect. Now they are glorifying the fact that 4 people can play on a Dreamcast agaisnt 4 other people across the internet. BUT as alot of you know you gotta pay for that service unless you have your own ISP that gives you the DNS. So this could mean no internet play for alot of you (especially if you got AOL or some other Free ISP).
